Mandarin Pomfret

For The Pomfret
- 1, whole pomfret
- 2 tbsp. chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp. lime juice
- 2 tbsp. chopped garlic chives
- 2 tbsp. butter
- ½ cup, water
- Salt to taste
- Sichuan pepper powder to taste
- Toasted white sesame seeds for garnish
For The Szechuan Veggies
- 3 tbsp. As Chefs Cook Szechuan Stir-fry Sauce (Shop now)
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 5-6, snow peas
- 1/2 cup, blanched broccoli florets
- ¼ cup, Chinese cabbage
- 1, pokchoy
- 1, blanched carrot
- 4-5, blanched baby corn
Preparation
- Clean, gut and wash thoroughly the fish and marinate with salt, sichuan pepper powder and lime juice. And set aside for 30 mins. In refrigerator.
- Heat a frying pan and sauté garlic in butter, add pomfret and pan fry on both sides. Add water, cover the pan and cook the fish over low heat till done.
- Heat oil in another frying pan and once it starts to smoke add the veggies and stir fry for 3-5 mins.
- Add the As Chefs Cook Szechuan Stir-fry sauce and stir fry further for 2 mins
- In a dinner plate place the pomfret, spoon the fish gravy on top of it. Garnish with garlic chives.
- Place the stir fry veggies around it and sprinkle toasted white sesame on top.
