Mushroom Burrito Bowl


(For 1 serve) 


  • 80 g, button mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. As Chefs Cook Salsa Stir Fry sauce (Shop Now)
  • ½, fresh avocado
  • 2 tbsp. grated American cheddar
  • ½ cup, boiled black beans
  • 2 tbsp. sour cream
  • ½ cup, shredded iceberg
  • 1 cup, cooked brown basmati rice
  • Some chopped chives for garnish




  • Heat a frying pan, add oil and stir fry button mushroom (cut into quarters) over high heat. Once cooked,  add the As Chefs Cook Salsa Stir Fry sauce and stir fry further for 2-3 mins. Set aside.
  • To assemble the burrito bowl, place warm, cooked rice in the bottom of the bowl.
  • Top with boiled black beans on one side, grated cheese next to it and stir fried mushrooms next and lastly shredded lettuce.
  • Scoop half avocado and place it in the centre
  • Spoon the sour cream on top and serve.
